2. Depreciation Fees

Coverage includes depreciation fees in-case of total loss.

3. Free Transportation

Transportation to and from the workshop is provided at no cost.

4. Claims for Burglary or Fire

A final police report is required to support claims resulting from burglary or fire. Coverage for burglary and fire starts with our extended warranty program and within the borders of the state of Qatar only.

5. Total Loss and Compensation

Total Loss The device will be deemed a total loss, if the cost of repair, including labour and spare components, equals or exceeds the purchase price.

Compensation: The customer will be compensated for the device's value after deducting the following depreciation rates from purchase price:

  • First Year: 10%
  • Second Year: 20%
  • Third Year: 30%

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

  1. Damage resulting from shipping or transit.
  2. Damages caused by intentional or unintentional breaking of the device.
  3. Devices repaired at unapproved service centres.
  4. Damages resulting from misuse, unnatural use, deliberate negligence, incorrect installation, or use of improper transformers.
  5. Devices with serial numbers that have been changed or removed, in whole or in part.
  6. Malfunctions caused by war, fires, revolutions, earthquakes, floods, lightning, and other natural disasters.
  7. Warranty card will not be valid if all the information has not been entered or card has been corrected or tampered with.
  8. Warranty request may not be cancelled, returned or transferred to another appliance. If Customer sold unit to new owner warranty will be void.

Electronic Warranty We Offer

Protection Plan

  • Begins upon the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Coverage Area

  • Limited to Qatar and all GCC area with authorized service center.

Maximum Claim Liability

  • Includes replacement or repair of parts whenever necessary. The warranty does not cover time, damage to personal properties, loss of revenues, or other resulting damages.

Services at Approved Centres

  • Repairs are performed in any seller-approved service centers Qatar and GCC. If an approved service center is unavailable, repairs will be performed by the warranty issuer.
  • If there is no approved service center, customer should contact the policy issuer.
  • If the repairs are performed at another agent, other than the seller approved in the GCC region, they may claim the repairs value and you will recover it from Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance by yourself.
